Harmonium with David Munnelly & Daire Bracken "warning" this file is 29 minutes long! It was a hugh pleasure to have our friends from Ireland with us at Carp Camp this year. We wish them all well and hope they will visit us again next year. Many thanks to a Great Band....! This was recorded live at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in 2005.

The Celebrated Opera Reel is another favorite at Carp Camp. This is part of a 35 minute set. You'll hear a drum solo at first and then Bob Dunn's big dig in this version. This was recorded live in the Carp Camp at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in 2002.

The tune is called Salvation and was written by Simon Bradley. I recorded it live in 2002 at the Carp Camp, one of the many camps at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, Kansas. There were approximately 100 musician playing during this tune...! And another 50 or so listening.

Here are two tunes called "The Boogie Reel" and Stack the Rags" "The Boogie Reel" was written by New York box player Tony Mullen. "Stack the Rags" is also known as "McGreeves" are both Traditional Irish. There were about 25 musicians playing at the Carp Camp during this set of tunes recorded in September of 2003.

"Hunting the Buffalo" and "Grub Springs" both traditional, are two favorities at the Carp Camp. I recorded them live in 2003 at the Carp Camp, one of the many camps at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, Kansas. These tunes can be found in Susan Songer's wonderful book "The Portland Collection" - Contra Dance Music in the Pacific Northwest.

Roanoke with Scott Schmidt and Josiah Payne of the Pagosa Hot Strings. Both hold the title of First Place National Mandolin Champion from 2002 and 2001 respectively held at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, Kansas. Here are both in a rare setting playing Roanoke.
